He is survived by: his sons, Scott K. Hiler (Mary) and Randy J. (Heather); his grandchildren, Christopher Hiler, Shelbee Hoffbauer (Josh), Michaela Alt (Dane), Monica McKinniss and Emma Hiler; his great grandchildren, Harper, Hayden Ramirez, Hudson and Madden Alt; his siblings, Lucy Hay (Tom), Faye Rothhaar (John), Louie Hiler and Jerry Hiler; and his siblings-in-law, Deb Hiler, Terry and Barb Britton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
