He was predeceased by: his mother Catherine Putt Betts; and his brother Lonnie Betts. He is survived by: his father Edwin Betts; his sisters, Kim Spencer and Kay Turney (Curt); and his sister-in-law Tracy Betts. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews and many extended family.
