He was predeceased by: his parents, Lark Napier and Opal Jane Napier (Robertson); his brothers, Lark and William Napier; his former wife Ceyberta "Peggy" Napier; his stepson Boyd Elwood Crutcher; and his brother-in-law Dell Bias.

He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Albert "Tige" Napier (Bonnie), Amber Marie Finck (Terry) and Crystal Lynnette Buxton (Alan); his stepchildren, Danny Ray Blackburn (Sonja), Cathaleen Marie Morehead and Rex Broom; his grandchildren, Bethany Johnson, Adam Finck, Haley Napier and A. J. Napier; his great grandchildren, Claire Ann Johnson and Sophie Paige Johnson; his siblings, Ronnie Napier (Gloria), Eleanor Floyd and Libby Irby (Farrell); and his niece Cassie Bias Miller. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
