He was predeceased by: his father John Pope; his son Arnie Pope Jr.; and his brothers, Bobby Pope, Leroy Pope and Larry Wells.
He is survived by: his wife LaDonna Oiler Pope; his children, Bryan Wayne Pope (Tracy) and Sabrina Lynn McComb (David); his grandchildren, Makayla, Makenzie, Julianna McComb, Tanner and Lydia Pope; his siblings, Nancy Johnson, Cary Harless (Robert) and Johnny Pope; and his close friends, Nancy and Bob.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel (208 N Main St, Vinton, OH 45686). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vinton Memorial Cemetery.
