It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara L. Wilson of Newark, Ohio, who passed away on November 22, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Elmer Mercer; and her grandson Donnald Simpson. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Wilson; her daughters, Dawn "Shelly" Simpson (Kevin), Samantha Powers (George) and Kimberly Grace (Anthony); her grandchildren, AJ Simpson (Desarae), Hayden Wilson, Gavin Powers, Ethan Powers, Serina Whittsit (Ryan), Kayla Wherling (Chris), Alizia Robinette (Preston) and Austin Grace (Adrun); and her sisters, Joyce Merrill (Bill) and Pam Mercer. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
