Shope of Newark, Ohio, born in Lucasville, Ohio, who passed away on December 13, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Robinson and Pauline Robinson (Adkins); her husband Rev. Cecil "Lee" Shope; her daughter Katherine Hughes; and her sister Linda Dennis.
She is survived by: her daughter Pauline Gerencser (Bruce); her son-in-law James Hughes; and her grandchildren, Jason, Nathan, Jaime, Bethany, Laura, Josiah, Cyle, Christopher and Adam. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bonnie's memory to the Newark Baptist Temple Missions fund.
