With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brice E. Baker (Newark, Ohio), born in Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on July 9, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Brice E. Baker to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Baker and Helen Baker (Schonauer); his parents-in-law, Howard and Patricia Watts; his granddaughter Elizabeth Baker; and his sister-in-law Sharon Traylor.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his siblings, Ruth Mason (Gene) and Rocky Baker; his children, Mike Baker, Michelle Baker (Mickey) and Patrick Watts (Christina); his grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler and Morgan Norris; his children, Kimberly Baker, Baylon, Aliyah and Aniston Watts; his pet Angel; and also, Deb Turnbull (Stan), Howard Watts (Patty), Kate Watts, John Wysong (Sandy) and Bobbie Cowen (Ray). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Newark Memorial Gardens (4244 Marion Rd NE, Newark, OH 43055). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the American Legion (85 S 6th St, Newark, OH 43055).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Ohio State University Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital in his memory.
