She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Schauwecker and Marie Schauwecker (Lancaster); her husband Paul "Hoss" Starr; and her sisters, JoAnn Collins and Myra Welsh.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Starr of Newark, Tom Starr (Angie) of Frazeysburg, Jodi Puckett (Lew) of Granville and Betsy Lyons (Jim) of Alexander, AR; her grandchildren, Nick Canale (Jenn), Ross Matheny (Chloe), Cameron Lyons (Lacie) and Parker Lyons (Allison); and her great grandchildren, Gia, Theo Canale, Miller Matheny, Huey and Opal Lyons. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
