He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Markle, Sr. and Dorothy Markle (Wood); and his great grandchild Jeramiah. He is survived by: his sons, Charles A. "Chuck" Markle, III (Gina), Lucas "Luke" Markle and Danny Layton (Nat); his brother Jerry Markle (Molly); his daughter-in-law Gina Markle; and his grandchildren, Christopher Markle (Tory) of Omaha, NE, Jennifer Markle Chase of Omaha, NE, Brandon Nethers (Elisa) of Newark and Bradley Elswick of Ironton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home (985 N 21st St, Newark, OH 43055). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at the Wilson Cemetery (4254 Marion Rd NE, Newark, OH 43055).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charlie's name to Hospice of Central Ohio or the Laurels of Heath.
