He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Elmer and Bernice Emma Brunner (Stickle); and his siblings, Randy, Rick, Ronnie, Terry, David Brunner and Marilyn Brunner.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Bobbie" Brunner; and his siblings, Christopher L. Brunner (Barbara), Carolyn Hockman, Diana Hopkins and Jeffrey Brunner (Jeannie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Charlie to the American Cancer Society and/or Hospice of Central Ohio.
