He is survived by: his parents, Fred Mathis and Karen Mathis; his children, Paige Galloway (James) of Newark, Landon Mathis of Newark and Madi Mathis of Newark; his granddaughter Henlee; his siblings, Amy Underhill (Charles), Amber Butts (Tim) and Verlin Mathis; and his nieces and nephews, Corbin Underhill, Austyn Butts, Alisyn Butts and Irene Butts. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
