With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christine Janet Gartner of Newark, Ohio, born in Mount Vernon, Ohio, who passed away on May 4, 2023 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Bobby B. Hurd; her grandparents, Virgil James and Georgie Gaye Hurd (Bond); and her aunts, Betty, Marguerite and Kenda Melick.
She is survived by: her mother Marlene Hurd (Melick); her children, Felicia Bryslan and Timothy Swank; her sister Donna Foutty (Dan); her grandchildren, Lanae, Armani, Amiah, Lakai Wheat, Isaac and Liam Swank; her nephew Cameron Foutty (Alexandrea); her niece Monica Foutty; and her uncles, K. Ronald Melick, Gary Melick, Jim Melick (Linda), Owen Melick and Bill Hurd (Wilma).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heath Christian Union Church.
