He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Arthur Tibbs and Betty C. Tibbs (Clark). He is survived by: his children, Elyn Tibbs-Rogers (Howard) of Howard, John Clark Tibbs and Matthew Alan Tibbs of Columbus; and his brothers, Howard Anthony Tibbs (Gloria Scott-Tibbs) of Columbus, Philip Andrew Tibbs of St. Petersburg and David Arthur Tibbs of Newark. He is also survived by one niece, one nephew, and numerous cousins.
