He was predeceased by: his father Clyde A. Whitener, Sr.; and his sister Judie Hall. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Whitener (Keffer); and his children, Sharon Sayers (Dan) of Newark, Melinda Wilkin (Steve) of Newark, Deborah Rude (Dale) of Springfield, Lori Nethers (Dwayne) of Fredericktown and Brian Whitener (Jessica) of Findlay. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
