He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Brett Mallasee and Timothy Abernathy; and his great-grandparent Elsie Backus. He is survived by: his parents, Michael Abernathy and Melissa Mallasee; his siblings, Christopher, Aurora, Mikey, Hayden, Mia, Hazel and Ivy; his aunts and uncles, April Elliott, Danielle Mallasee (Dustin Cunningham), Marshall Mallasee, Matthew Mallasee, Chris Frank and Cory Williams (Bri); and his grandparents, Kim Backus and Debbie Cosgrove (Patrick).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home (985 N 21st St, Newark, OH 43055). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
