He was predeceased by: his father Frank Watson; and his brother Terry Watson (Carolyn). He is survived by: his mother Jeanetta Watson (Rankin); his wife Joyce; his children, John Watson, Dale Watson Jr., Mark Watson (Stephanie) and Alan Watson (Suzanne); and his sister Bea Watson (Ron Coleman). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
