It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Brechbill of Newark, Ohio, born in Canton, Ohio, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Brechbill and Charlotte Brechbill (Hummer); his wife Janet Westall Brechbill; and his siblings-in-law, Kaye Schaller and Robert Day.

He is survived by: his son Ryan Brechbill (Rebecca) of Newark; his grandsons, Jacob and Sean Brechbill; his sister Barb Riley of Dover, Ohio; his siblings-in-law, Barb Garay (Bill) of Bowling Green, Dave Westall (Karla) of Lima and Nelson Schaller of Eau Clare; his niece Deb; and his nephews, Scott and David.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
