It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Elbert Martin of Newark, Ohio, born in Glouster, Ohio, who passed away on March 31, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James W. Martin; his daughter Belinda Martin; and his siblings, Paul Martin, Wayne Martin, Donald Martin, James Martin, Nora Dunlap and Phyllis Marriot.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Martin (Baker); his brother-in-law Phil Baker; his children, Renee Burke (Brennan), Sherry Griffith (David), David E. Martin II (Michelle), April Calesaric (Robert E.) and Jared Toby Martin; his stepchildren, Mark Burrier, Kris Burrier and Heidi Cosgrove (John); and his brothers, Danny Martin (Sue) and Tom Martin (Karen). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
