He was predeceased by: his parents, David Evans and Anne Evans (Patterson); and his wife Sandra Kay Evans. He is survived by: his sister Molly Marcelain (Guy); his children, Audrey Evans of Milwaukee, Betsy Evans (Jonathan Goodman) of Seattle and David Rees Evans, III (Katie) of Florida; his stepchildren, Sherry Kirkpatrick (Greg McFarland), Scot (Ruth Myers) and Shawn Lint (Paula); his grandsons, Scott and Nicholas Evans (Ashley); his stepgrandchildren, Brent Kirkpatrick, Myranda Held, Ari Lint, Emily, Adam, Trent and Laura Lint; his great grandchild Kali Evans; and the mother of his children Julie Ketner Barrett. He is also survived by two nieces; two nephews.
