He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Johnson-Abbott (Wonus) and William "Bill" Johnson (Naomi Stickle); his father-in-law Andrew Leon Justice; and his son-in-law Robert Lees. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Johnson (Justice); his mother-in-law Nancy Justice (Redman); his children, Col Benjamin Johnson (Manya) and Michelle (Chris Frailley); his grandchildren, Brandt, Kalista Lees, Daniel, Caylynn Frailly and Emilie Johnson; his sister Jenny Brehm (David); his niece Natalie Barry (John); and his nephew Riley Brehm.
