She was predeceased by: her parents, James Overton and Betty Overton (Workman). She is survived by: her sons, Roger and Ryan Maharg; her grandchildren, Ripken, Ryleigh and Reece Maharg; and her brothers, Mark Overton (Tammy) and Bobby Overton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, James "Jimmy" Overton, Jr.
