She was predeceased by: her parents, Onie Lee Goodman and Shirley Gill (Ellis); her daughter Melissa Kay Smith; her husband Roger Lee Smith; her sister Vadie "Ann" Lilly Bazler; and her nephew Justin Goodman.
She is survived by: her son Bobby Goodman (Erin) of Dresden; her siblings, James L. Goodman of Columbus and Rhonda L. Rodgers (Charlie) of Newark; her stepfather Jimmy Gill of Newark; and her stepsister Roberta Carter Bouvier of Cambridge. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
