She was predeceased by: her parents, Orrin Jones and Ethel Jones (Downs); her husband Richard Hoy; and her brothers, Herbert Jones, Kenneth Jones, Ralph Jones, Charles Jones and Carl Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon Rissler of San Antonia, Vickie Hoy of Newark, Richard Hoy of Senecaville, James Hoy (Leann) of Warsaw, Steven Hoy (Penny) of Dresden and Melanie "Sue" Fadley (Steve) of Nashport; and her sister Juanita Garee of Apache Junction, Arizona. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
