With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy J. Ware of Newark, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on September 28, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mahlon Cecil and Sarah Helen Kirkpatrick (Arkwright); her husband Edward W. Ware Sr.; and her sister-in-law Ruth Kirkpatrick. She is survived by: her children, Helen Jones (Dennis), Edward Ware Jr. (Lisa), Kirk Ware (Deborah), Terri Scott (Bert), Barbara J. Ware and David B. Ware; her grandchildren, Kirk Ware Jr. Daniel L. Ware (Farrah), Eric Jones (Danielle), Jessica Zacharko (Nicholas), Amanda Jones, Ashley Archer (Eric), Sarah Litten (Gage) and Jill McLaird (Ian); her brother James Kirkpatrick; her close friend Lynn Cable; her cousin Diane Bowles; and her pet Sassy. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
