Edith Louise Fields Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edith Louise Fields of Newark, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Guilliams and Ernestine Guilliams. She is survived by: her sons, Les Ames (Kim) of Prospect, Ohio and Mark Fields (Darlene) of Newark, Ohio; her grandchildren, Stephanie Ames of Norwalk, Zach Ames (Robbie) of Wooster and Meagan Rickard (Brad) of Heath, Ohio; her great grandchild Adriah Davis of Heath, Ohio; and her siblings, Donald Guilliams of Oregon, James Guilliams of Ohio, Carlos Guilliams, Jr. of Ohio, Phillip Guilliams of South Carolina, William Guilliams of Pennsylvania, Barbara Kent of Massachusetts and Sharon Aronhalt of Ohio.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newark Chapel (1850 W Main St, Newark, OH 43055). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In honor of Edith's great love of children, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
