She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Butler and Imogene Butler (Berry). She is survived by: her children, Roxie Howard (Calvin Hill) and Keith Ewing; and her grandchildren, Paul Alex Richard Ewing and Jagger W. Ewing (Tatiana Kosal).
