It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elena Lucille Szabo of Newark, Ohio, born in Ironton, Ohio, who passed away on April 16, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dickess and Emma Dickess (Murnahan); her former husband Carl Neal; and her husband Francis Szabo. She is survived by: her siblings, Clara Sue Mootz, Sophia Wilson, Rachael Neal, Frank, Tom, Jack, Ed, Mac, Wilbur, David and Mack Dickess; her daughter Linda Booth (Dave) of Pataskala, Ohio; her grandchildren, Jesse Scott of Pataskala and Casey Booth (Jennifer) of Circleville, Ohio; and her great grandchildren, Emma Scott, Charlotte Booth (Charlie) of Pataskala, Austin and Lane Booth of Circleville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
