She was predeceased by: her husband Rick Simpson; her mother Mabel I. Sponseller (Carver); and her brother Darrell W. Sponseller. She is survived by: her father Robert Sponseller of Newark; her brothers, William Sponseller, Keith Sponseller and Roger Sponseller; and her close friend Mary Sponseller. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
