We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2025, at the age of 73, Gary Robert Epling of Newark, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Gary leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Gary may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his mother Evelyn Louise; and his sisters, Kathy (Bowles) and Debbie (Burns). He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Epling; his children, Gary Joseph Epling, Joshua Robert Epling (Jennifer), Angelica Rose Johnson (Jeremiah) and Nycole Louise Epling; and his siblings, Steve Epling, Vickie (Kopp), Mary (Harper) and Freda (Burns). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (40 Granville St, Newark, OH 43055).
