We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2024, at the age of 71, George Blackburn of Newark, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold George Blackburn and Nellie Belle Blackburn Sharrow (Barcus). He is survived by : his wife Jacqueline Jo "Winkie" Blackburn (Grove); his daughters, Rebecca Sparks (Russell) of Johnstown, Jennifer Musgrave (Tim Conely) of Utica and Tammy Sayre (Bruce) of Johnstown; his grandchildren, Ryan Sparks (Jordan Grube), Reece Sparks (Hunter Martin), Rylee Sparks, Jorgia Musgrave, Daniel Musgrave, Shyann Summers (Brooke) and Ashley Jackson; his great grandchild Serenity Sparks; his siblings, Debra Luther of Utica, Danny Moore (Linda) of Newark and Gerald Blackburn (Rose) of Georgia; and his pets, Boogie and Frankie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A reception was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion Post #85 (85 S 6th St, Newark, OH 43055).
