It is with sadness that the passing of George A. Griffith of Newark, Ohio is shared. George, born on August 5, 1944 in Urbana, Ohio, passed away on September 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
George will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor George by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though George is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. George’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Griffith and Adelaide Griffith (Moore). He is survived by: his wife Karen L. Griffith (Moulton); and his children, Lisa Kincaid (Richard), Tim Griffith and Heidi Nolan (Brad). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hoskinson Funeral Home (285 E Main St, Kirkersville, OH 43033). A procession was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
