George Thomas Henry Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 30, 2025, at the age of 89, George Thomas Henry of Newark, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Howard Henry and Nellie Ida Henry (Holmes); his siblings, Bill Henry and Patricia Henry; and his siblings-in-law, Margaret and Jim Hopkins.

He is survived by: his wife Sally Henry; his children, George Henry (Joann), Koni Gockenbach (Bill) and Glenn Henry (Marcie); his grandchildren, Naysa Gockenbach (Josh Saling), Gregg Henry (Kristy), Garric Henry (Chrissy Wurster), Kevin Gockenbach (Cassie Krantz), Courtney Dye (Shawn) and Garrett Henry (Marie); his great grandchildren, Genavieve, Grady, Camilla, Garrison, Michael, Charlotte, Penelope, Gibson, Nellie, Gryffin and Claire; his brother Rich; and his sister-in-law Linda Henry. He is also survived by sister-in-law, Sue Henry-Mounts; cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
