It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gordon Keith Moran of Newark, Ohio, who passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd T. Moran and Agnes I. Moran (Clark); his significant other Betty Jo Moran; his daughter Marilyn Stokes; and his brother Marion Moran.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Jo Ghiloni (Denny) of Newark, Pamela L. Parrill (Jesse) of Frazeysburg and Paula L. Reich (Greg) of Johnstown; his grandchildren, Keith Gambill, Mark Reed, Jennifer Croft (Kyle), Jessica Wolford (Craig), Sarah Henderson (Jared) and Ava Reich; and his siblings, Cecil Moran of Thornville, Glen Moran of Newark, Faye Sandusky of Rock Falls, Lila Jean Jones of Warsaw and Mona Warden (Jim) of Warsaw. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home (110 W 3rd St, Frazeysburg, OH 43822). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at the Frazeysburg Cemetery West Carlisle.
