He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Miller and Deborah Miller (Fredericks); his son Timothy Miller; his brother Robert Miller; and his son-in-law Leon Carpenter.

He is survived by: his wife Willadean "Willie"; his children, Myrna Carpenter of Salem, Mickey Miller (Chris) of Salem, Tina Harmon (Jim) of Newark and April Ferguson (Steven) of West Mansfield; and his siblings, Linda Fullum, Bess Barronzzi, Grace Heitzman, Dolly Stoffer, Sam Miller and Gerald Miller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
