With sadness, we share the passing of James Wayne Campbell of Newark, Ohio. James Wayne, born on September 9, 1940 in Wellston, Ohio, passed away on October 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Manda Lee DeMoss and John Benjamin Campbell; his children, Ronda Sue Campbell and Jimmy Campbell Watson; and his siblings, Ralph Murray and Joann Cunningham.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Boring (Dan) of Newark and Jean Rouse (Kevin) of Beulaville; his grandchildren, Luke Boring and Emma Boring; his sister Judy Byles of Sun City, CA; and his close friend Gloria Kelley.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bible Baptist Church (50 Price Rd, Newark, OH 43055).
