With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jay Finklea of Newark, Ohio, who passed away on June 16, 2023 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jay Finklea to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his godson Russell McMillian; his brother Savage Nettles; and his brother-in-law Donald Irwin. He is survived by: his wife Beverly A. Finklea (Irwin); his sons, J. C. Finklea II, Dr. Charles U. Finklea (Marcia) and Aaron M. Finklea; his grandchildren, Kailee Finklea and Isabella Finklea; and his brother-in-law Ronald O. King, Sr. (Brenda). He is also survived by numerous God-Children, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
