He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Snyder and Lucille Snyder (Haut); and his grandparents, John, Florence Snyder, Charles and Myrtle Haut.

He is survived by: his close friend Carrie Baldinger Kunz; his children, Jeffrey A. Snyder II (Sandi) of North Carolina, Jared D. Snyder of California, Jacob G. Snyder of Hawaii and Jessa M. Snyder of Ohio; his sisters, Cheryl L. Jennings (Steve) of Ohio and Susan S. Bloomfield (Bill) of Utah; his grandchildren, Emily L. Snyder and Jeffrey A. Snyder III; and his nieces, Lauren T. Jennings and Alison H. Jennings.
