It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry R. Davies of Newark, Ohio, who passed away on August 27, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Gaile Davies; and his brother Jim Davies (Barb). He is survived by: his wife Dixie R. Davies (Hoyt); his children, Jerame Davies (Bernadette) of Newark, Jerid Davies of Granville and Tasha Lorentz (John) of Dover, OH; his grandchildren, Dr. Al Davies (Grant Lewis), Abby Davies, Sydney Lorentz, Sawyer Lorentz, Simon Lorentz, Ella Davies and Emma Davies; his sister Joann Payne (Richard) of Mt. Vernon; and his sister-in-law Sheri Dornhecker (Terry) of Bolivar, OH. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio or Mound City Little League.
