She was predeceased by: her parents, Zenaide Blackburn (Morris) and Earl J. Devoll Sr.; her daughter Pamela McClain; her brother Earl John "Sonny" Devoll Jr.; and the father of her children Thomas McClain.
She is survived by: her children, Zenaide Burden (Troy), Brenda Findlay (Jeffrey), Dennise Jackson (Jason), Scott Devoll (Kelly) and Aveontae "Tae" Taborn-McClain; her grandchildren, Courtney Hottinger (Roger), Chelsey Burden (Zack), Tory Burden (Kenny), Cayleigh Burden, Hazel Burden, Brooke Bumgartner (Keith), Taylor Murphy (Cory), Izabella Findlay (Jarret), Jeff Jr. Findlay (Erin), Shavonna Helms (Kyle), Marketa Helms, Nico Jackson, Lyric Jackson, Zac Brown, Eric Devoll, Manny Devoll and Jeremiah Devoll; her pet Max; and her great grandchildren, Trever Williams, Keaten Hottinger, Zachariah Higgins, Emiry West, Islah Baez, Cash Smith, Nevaeh Findlay, Everly Findlay, Jeffery Findlay III, Jordin Benner, Tommy Robinson, Brayden Eugene Brown, Paisley and Parker.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Northside Church of Christ (4427 Marion Rd NE, Newark, OH 43055). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
As a private in-home caregiver, she lovingly served many families, especially those caring for loved ones with Alzheimer's and dementia.
