Joann Warthen Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joann Warthen of Newark, Ohio, who passed away on September 29, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Dandera and Marie Dandera (Trubiano); her husband Richard E. "Dick" Warthen; her children, Dianne Marie Warthen and Scott Warthen; and her children-in-law, Cindy Warthen and Bill Lamp.

She is survived by: her children, Vicky Lamp and Doug Warthen (Patricia); her sister Lucille Crist; her grandchildren, Heather Daugherty, Michael Daugherty (Michele), Stephanie DeLozier (Matt), Judson Warthen, Sadie Speiser (Nate), Laney Carpenter (Ben), Katie Gerding (Bret), Eric Williams and David Williams; her great grandchildren, Journi Milton, Elijah DeLozier, Christian Daugherty, James Daugherty, Skyla Beckman, Grant, Wren Gerding, Sully, Ellis, Shep Speiser, Briggs and Reid Carpenter; Sarah Pethel. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
