He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Ocanas and Juana Ocanas (Tovar); and his brothers, Joe Ocanas, Eleazar Ocanas and Danny Ocanas.
He is survived by: his nephews, Adrian and Miah; his wife Nancy; his children, Joel Ocanas (Tina), Jason Ocanas, Jacob Ocanas (Kat) and Alyssa Keller; and his siblings, Jesse Ocanas (Sandy), Israel Ocanas, Mary Buena (Rick), Sylvia Rivera (Vic) and Sally Guitterez (Gilbert). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren; and very special nieces and nephews.
