We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2025, at the age of 64, John Brian Johnston of Newark, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John Brian may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Brian touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Johnston and Margaret Johnston (Perl). He is survived by: his daughter Alix Alvey (Josh); his siblings, Marsha Jones (Rodger) and Jim Johnston (Sheila); his nephews, David and Jim Jones; and his granddaughter Leneya June Alvey.
