He was predeceased by : his parents, Michael A. Harden and Helen Harden (Capps); his sister Shirley Capps; his brother-in-law Billy Capps; and his half-brother Mike Harden.

He is survived by : his wife Bette Harden (Wilson); his children, John M. Harden (Lynn), April Barns (Randy) and Misty Seagren (Todd); his stepdaughters, Darlene Steward (Jim) and Sheri Stiger (Mike); his sister Helen Och; and his close friends, Bob Toothman (Linda), Valerie Fouts and Dan Weddington. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Nevada Cemetery (10938 OH-231, Nevada, OH 44849).
