He was predeceased by: his father Enricus Palumbo; his former wife Shirley; his sons, Anthony and Paul; and his grandson Shawn.

He is survived by: his wife Agnes; his children, Teresa Atkins (Bill) and Michael Palumbo; his stepchildren, Christopher Hoar and Emily Sayre (Joshua); his grandchildren, Phillip, Kamaya, Nicole (Steve), Shannon, Chad (Rachel), Nathan (Kayla), Tara, Felicia and Jennifer; his stepgrandchildren, Clayton, Peyton and Eva; and his siblings, Jim Palumbo (Lyn) and Marjorie Polson. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
