We bid farewell to Josephine Layton of Newark, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 17, 2025 at the age of 94. Josephine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Annarino and Nellie Annarino (Scaffide); her husband Richard E. Layton; her granddaughter Kayla Layton; her son-in-law Ed Tussey; her brothers, George and John Annarino; her sister-in-law Doris Annarino; and her nephew-in-law Joseph Komada.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Layton (Aundrea Antritt), Debora Tussey (Aaron Keirns), Marcia Riley, Cammie Sabo (Randy), Lynn Hall, Renata Kreager (Jud), Gerard Layton (Cyndi), George Layton (Diane), Peggy Gosnell (Andy) and Pam Nethers (Chris); her siblings, Veronica Edwards (Ronald) and Ralph Annarino; her sister-in-law Karen Annarino; her niece Peggy Komada; her friend Deb Gordon; and her pet Phoenie. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren (with another on the way), 1 great-great-grandchild.
