She was predeceased by: her father William Leslie; and her siblings, Abinadab Scott, Judith Dryer, Jerusha Broughton, Jacob Scott and William Scott.
She is survived by: her daughter Shani Avery-Scott; her grandchildren, Baxter Avery-Scott, Shawnica Amison, Ashley Amison, Alex Amison, Jasmine Amison, Katiana Sanchez, Alejandra Sanchez and Kyssa Pollard; her great grandchild Amari Amison; her siblings, Ruth Montgomery of Anderson, Jewel Scott of Newark and David Scott of Coshocton; and her niece Sheila Abercrombie (Felicia Abercrombie). She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews, and great and great-great-nieces and nephews.
