He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert and Aileen; his wife Carolyn Sue Wood Jewell; his son Terry Jewell; and his brother Bob Jewell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Tomplait (Gerald) of Nashport, Kristie Reed (Roger) of Waterford and Kellie Jewell of Senatobia; and his siblings, Carlos Jewell of Miamisburg, David Jewell of Kettering and Trudy Jewell Webb of Carlisle. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
