He was predeceased by: his parents, Belford "Bill" Burgess and Margie Rose Burgess (Bateman); and his brother William "Joe" Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Christy George (Thad), Eric Burgess (MJ) and Troy Burgess (Kristi); his grandchildren, Gracelynn, Kelby, Allie, Emmie, Maci and Clayton; his sister Debbie Shaw (Bill); and his uncle Lee Batemen. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and family.
