He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth L. Simpson; his wife Betty J. Simpson (Slocumb); his son-in-law Myron Snow; and his grandson Richard Simpson. He is survived by: his children, Roberta Snow of Scottsdale, AZ, Kenneth Simpson (Cheryl) of Heath, OH and B. Richard Simpson (Pam) of Abilene, KS. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
