He was predeceased by: his parents, Deacon Willie Woods Sr. and Gertrude Woods (Banks); his son Lamar Woods Jr.; his granddaughter TĂ©a Woods; and his siblings, Adv. Presiding Elder Willie Woods Jr., Adv. Presiding Elder Marvin E. Woods, Adv. Sr. Mother Martha Herd, Sr. Mother Bernice James, Eldress Juanita Woods, Eldress Jacqueline Woods and Marva Jean Woods.
He is survived by: his sons, Niels Woods, Adjuane "Lamar" Woods and Donté Woods. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; 21 nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service (179 Granville St, Newark, OH 43055). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
